In traditional publishing, it can take more than a year to go from manuscript to publication because books have to be slotted into publishing and printing schedules.

Self publishing through Bloodstone Books is different, largely because we use on-demand printing. Rather than printing 500 or 1,000 copies of your book, each copy is printed and shipped to order. And rather than you paying for the print and storage of hundreds of books, you earn a royalty on each copy sold. 3. Send an e-mail to editorial@bloodstonebooks.com, with your manuscript as an attachment and your book title as the subject line

We will commence the self publishing process immediately and, upon clearance of your payment, finalise the typesetting and cover design. Within six weeks, you will receive a PDF of the final typeset pages and the cover design for your approval. Upon approval, we will then prepare your book for final publication.

At the end of eight weeks, you will be holding in your hands the first published copy of your poetry and it will start appearing on online bookshops like Amazon. It really is as simple as that.
